The whole process from ordering to installation was super easy. The delivery turnaround was lightning fast. The installation was very simple. Before getting started my advise would be take a minute to map out where you want to put the ballasts and relays, allow some extra time for that. I used 3M 30# double sided stick tape and that made it super easy. The light output for the low beams is a 200% improvement over stock OEM.

I've previously have three different sets of HID headlights on previous vehicles and none of them came close to the quality or the kitting as these from The Retrofit Source. The installation was very easy and the fit and finish was worth every penny! I'd recommend these without hesitation.

I received my HID kit this past week in the mail and installed them yesterday on my 2015 Silverado with factory projectors. Couldn't be happier with the appearance of the lights and the kit itself... Everything was great quality. The only negative thing I can say is that the H11 bulbs that come with the kit have a connector that sticks straight back instead of the 90 degree connector on the factory halogen. This made the bulb too long to fit into the dustcap and a major pain in the ass to reinstall the caps, I ended up having to drill another hole in the cap so that the end of the bulb could stick through the dustcap and then silicone around the opening to prevent dust and moisture from entering. Considering this is Silverado Spec I wouldn't expect to run into this issue.

So I initially bought a cheap HID kit thinking id save money. You get what you pay for. Didn't work after about 3 works of troubleshooting (from a un-named company). I contacted the guys at TRS and they led me In the right direction. So far (2 weeks) I've had absolutely no issues. The DRL work perfect and no issues with AUTO lights. Thanks for the help and great customer service so far. The quality of the the kit is top notch.

My wife bought me this kit for my birthday. As others have said, this is the way that these trucks should have came from the factory. I went with the 35w 5500K and am very impressed. I don't think that I will need my high-beams anymore (when I turn them on, the Morimoto HIDs make them barely visible). I was on the fence about getting an HID kit because of the wiring, but it only took a little over an hour to install. The best part (other than being able to see amazingly at night) is that the kit is well hidden in the engine bay, making it seem like everything is stock.



High quality parts and I would (and have) recommend to everyone I know who has one of these trucks.

Bought this kit for my 2015 silverado with out the projectors, installation took me about 1 1/2 ,but I am very anal , I like everything to look OEM. After a couple of months the kit is working flawless , no dimming of flickering , is about 4 times brighert than factory halogens , beautiful crisp white light with a very small hint of blue . If you own a silverado you owe yourself this kit , you will appreciate the brightness of the HID .

This HID kit is great. It is totally worth the money spent. I went with the 5500's with the 35 watt ballasts and they are at least 3-4 times brighter than the stock halogens. The kit came with everything that I needed and it was an easy install (about 1.5 hours).

After emailing TRS, they advised this unit would work perfectly with my truck. I purchased the unit with 35w ballast and 5500k bulbs and installed it exactly how they suggested (website example). After about a month one side of the lights went out. I purchased replacement bulbs thinking it was the bulb that went out but i was wrong. Replacing the bulb didn't fix the problem. I did some trouble shooting and discovered the ballast was out. I emailed TRS and they replaced the burnt ballast very quickly. I installed the new ballast and 1 week later, the light went out again. I'm done trouble shooting with their product. Now I'm awaiting their reply to see what they suggest i do now. Hopefully they can help me fix this issue.

These lights are amazing. As others have said, they are the way that these trucks should have came from the factory. I went with the 35w 5500K and have been very impressed so far. These have been a great birthday gift.



If you are thinking that the HID wiring is too cumbersome, i thought that too, until I installed this kit. Not bad at all and can make it very well hidden in the engine bay.
