INSTALLATION DOCUMENTS
Heavy Hitter: The Black Series clear lens is the big news! Compatible with 90% of Japanese vehicles with stock halogen or xenon projectors, it is hugely universal.
Black Series: Named after the projectors they fit. If yours have a black plastic lens frame similar to the one shown in the product pictures; the Black Series lens is the way to go for a snap-in upgrade that will vastly improve your light output!
Jap-Spec: It is very common for many modern Toyota, Lexus, Scion, Subaru, Nissan, and Mazda vehicles with 2.5" factory projectors to come with the projector that's compatible with this Morimoto clear lens. If you're unsure, feel free to ask! (H7, H11, D2S, and D4S are all common bulb sizes in these projectors)
No Brainer: Adding a set of clear lenses to your OEM headlights or projector retrofit with OEM projectors should be a "no-brainer". Not only are they an inexpensive upgrade, but the Black Series lens allow the projectors to perform to their maximum potential in every aspect.
Size Matters: When picking out a pair of clear lenses, it's not about which model is "best" - it's about compatibility. The diameter AND focus height of the Morimoto clear lens are both very important.

Bought these for my..

Bought these for my 2010 Nissan Maxima to replace the fuzzy OEM lens and did not like the OEM cutoff and not bright enough. When I ordered it it came pretty fast! When I got to install it they're really easy to install, just pop out the OEM lens and pop in the Black Series clear lens and you're done! I can tell you this after everything thing was put back and installed I tested them out on the road and WOW these are amazing!!! I love the cutoff, colors, and sharpness!! It will make a world of a difference, its brighter, shines little more farther, and wider. I can see the road signs a lot better! I am also using Morimoto 5Five ballasts with 5000K HID bulb and they are amazing!! Better yet they have excellent customer service!!! Love TRS: Best place to get HIDs, Projectors, and any other retrofitting needs!!
Best upgrade for...

Best upgrade for RX330 non-AFS projector with very sharp cutoff and increased light output. Initially I got TSX lens for this projector, but the fit was very loose, so I opted for this lens. The lens by itself fits slightly loose in the non-AFS black plastic lens holder, and need one cereal box spacer to make the fit tight. After this upgrade, I had to play around with washer because this lens have different focal height than OEM lens, even though they have very close physical height.

Bought these for my 2012 Maxima and I can't even explain how much of an improvement these are. I'd you're on HiDplanet, I have a thread with pictures on the car. The cutoff is SUPER sharp and there is SO MUCH COLOR. Like literally the most color I've even seen in a cutoff while remaining super sharp. Recommend these for anyone with black body projectors, especially Maxima's.

If your looking at the reviews you’re probably asking the same questions I was. So let me try to answer them for you.
I’m just going to be honest with you all; If you are already opening up your headlight, a clear lens swap really is a no-brainer. For $40, this is a relatively cheap and easy upgrade that will make a pretty big impact. Installing them is actually pretty damn simple. Most lenses are just held onto the projector dish by a few screws or clip tabs and aren’t hard to get to at all. Im just going to assume that if your smart enough to get the headlight off your car, and take the housing apart, your smart enough to find out where and how the lenses are attached to projector. If you aren’t sure if your lenses are already clear there is an easy check: clear lenses are, well, clear. You can barely even see them when looking at your projector they are so clear. So, if you look at your factory projector lens and you can easily see the lens, they aint clear. The clear lens definitely makes the light output cleaner and sharper, allowing more light to be distributed throughout your entire field of view. Pair a set of clear lenses with a Moriomoto HID kit and your light output will be very noticeably brighter and cleaner. Again, if your headlights are already coming open, go ahead and swap out the lenses. You won’t be disappointed.

Can't fault these

Put them on my Gen 5 Legacy/Liberty. Gives a nice sharp cutoff.
Not bad price, Not bad increase.

I applied this lenses to my Hyundai Tucson(18) HID system.
OEM lenses are little bigger than normally 2.5' lenses.
But BLACK SERIES has same size, so I chose it.
These clear lens make a cutoff line definitely sharper and brightness some increased.
I'm really satisfied with sharpness beam for this price.
Totally worth it

I was a bit nervous about doing any major modifications, since I have little to no experience with projectors and lenses but this turned out to be rather simple. I replaced the stock halogen projector lenses in my 2011 Mazda 3 and you won't believe the difference! I have a razor sharp cutoff now and my light output looks to have increased by at least 20-30%. For the price of the lenses compared to the results, it was certainly worth it.

Put these on my 09 camry today and they required alot of work to get a nice colorful cutoff. Require modifications to the shroud and shield for a proper cut off. Once we did the modifications the cutoff came out excellent. Just dont think your going to get great output by just snapping them into the factory shields.
