INSTALLATION DOCUMENTS
Apollo 3.0: Fresh off the injection press! The Apollo 3.0 is the third Porsche inspired Morimoto projector shroud to join the Apollo family. With excellent projector coverage, great looks, and perfect integration with our 110mm LED halos, they're already a hit! With a smooth chrome finish that accents its multi-facet design well, the Apollo 3.0 fits well in a wide variety of retrofits on vehicles with round reflectors. Whether you're working on a car or a truck with big headlights, consider the Apollo 3.0 as a solid choice.
In Comparison: Don't make the mistake of thinking all shrouds are created equal. Even though less expensive alternatives may be available elsewhere: Morimoto projector shrouds are made from the highest quality plastic and have by far the most durable metalized chrome finishes. The cheap-o's out there are flimsy enough to deform from the heat just a 35W HID bulb, and their chrome finish easily flakes off.
Mounting: Centric Rings are not included by default, but are highly recommended to improve ease of installation on many projectors. The Centric Rings are simple reducers that clip into the shroud to reduce the inside diameter, making them more of a "press fit" onto the lens holder of the projector. JB Quik Weld is also recommended in order to prevent the shrouds from vibrating loose over time.
LED Halos: Are a unique and effective way to further customize the look of your projector retrofit. The Profile Pivot (switchback) and Profile Pixel (RGB) systems are easy to mount on the front of your Morimoto projector shrouds, are reliable, and of course awesome looking. To determine which size is best for you - check out the size-guide in the "In Action" images section below. These Morimoto projector shrouds feature DRL-Vents that will glow with light if you wanted to do something a bit different and mount the halos inside.
Trimming: Please note that trimming shrouds is a common task when retrofitting. Whether required to clear part of the projector or fit within the geometry of your headlight housing, it's normal. We recommend a Dremel hand tool with EZ Lock cutting wheels to make the job easy.

Definitely one....

Definitely one of my favorite shrouds. Great design and looks awesome with XBaLED rings in behind....just ask Jesse James, he's rockin' these headlights that are shown in the pics.
Great shrouds
by Domenic Muscolo
I paired these with some D2S mini 5.0s and they look great. I have both a internal halo and on the front. My only gripe about the interanal halo is that it is definitely not a perfect fit. At 110mm it is larger than the holes so ligh t.f does shine through but it doesn't have that solid glow you get if you see a halo directly. Heads up these are probably the largest shrouds morimoto offers so you better have a big housing or lots of trimming will be required.
Perfect diameter for 05-10 Scion TC!
by KEVIN
I bought a bunch of different shrouds off TRS for my projector builds. I was working on my girlfriend's 07 Scion TC. This shroud fit PERFECTLY inside the low beam reflector housing! It only needed slight trimming off the top so it sits flush. I matted this with the MIni H1 6.0 setup and a hub-centric ring to finish it off.
Very well made, fantastic shrouds, quite large but easily modifiable for you application

In a factory 2005 Honda Accord housing, a good bit of trimming was necessary, and now they look great with the Profile Bi-Lens D2S projectors I retrofitted in.
